Short written guides — each one small enough to actually do.

Getting started — your first ten minutes

You do not have to organise your whole household in a day. Here is a first session that actually finishes.

  1. 1.Start with any email address at keepwiz.com — continue with Google or Microsoft, or ask us to email you a code.
  2. 2.Connect the storage you already use (Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox). Files you add through KeepWiz stay in that account — yours, not ours.
  3. 3.Add one thing. One person, one account, or one photographed bill. KeepWiz suggests the details and a filing spot for you to check before saving.
  4. 4.Stop there if you like. The picture builds as life happens — each bill, statement or renewal you add gets linked to the people and accounts it belongs to.

Adding documents — the photograph habit

The easiest household filing system is the one that happens at the kitchen bench, the moment the envelope is opened.

  1. 1.Open KeepWiz on your phone and photograph the bill, statement or letter.
  2. 2.KeepWiz reads what it can and suggests the details — who it belongs to, what it relates to, when it falls due. You review before anything is saved.
  3. 3.The file lands in your own connected storage; the details land in your household picture.
  4. 4.If a due date matters — a renewal, a bill, an expiry — keep it, and it joins the calendar of things that fall due.

Your household — who sees what

A household is people who share a life, not people who share every detail. KeepWiz is built around that.

  1. 1.Invite the people who should share the household picture. Each person joins with their own sign-in.
  2. 2.People you only need to record — a child, an elderly parent — can be added without any sign-in at all.
  3. 3.What each person marks private stays private to them. The shared picture is for the things a household genuinely shares.
  4. 4.Nothing is shared outside the household unless someone deliberately shares it.

Packs — sharing the right slice

A broker, lawyer or accountant never needs your whole life. They need the right slice of it, once, in good order.

  1. 1.Build a pack shaped for the person receiving it — a broker pack for a loan conversation, a pack for your accountant at tax time.
  2. 2.You choose exactly what goes in. Nothing is included by default.
  3. 3.Send it when you're ready. Sharing a pack does not open the rest of your household account.
  4. 4.The same idea covers the person who would step in for a few days if life went sideways — the essentials, in one place, without handing over everything.
